Salt and Light Northern Women

Who Are We:

Salt & Light Northern Women is a Christ-centered gathering of women from Northern Ontario, gathering in Sault Ste. Marie who desire to grow deeper in faith, stronger in community, and bolder in living out the gospel.

We exists to be a light in this region — bringing women from all different backgrounds, churches and denominations together not around personality or trend, but around Jesus Christ and His Word.

We believe when women are strengthened in Christ- families, churches and communities are strengthened.

Why We Gather:

Women carry significant weight.

Women navigate family responsibilities, workplace pressures, caregiving, service, personal struggles, cultural confusion, and spiritual battles — often quietly and alone.

In Northern Ontario especially, distances are wide, winters are long, and isolation can creep in. We believe gathering matters.

We are women of all ages and seasons of life — mothers, daughters, professionals, students, widows, single women, new believers, and lifelong followers of Jesus — coming together around one unchanging truth: God’s Word transforms lives.

We Believe Women Need:

• Clarity in a shifting culture

• Authentic Christian community

• Encouragement that goes beyond surface positivity
